FAQs

So this is just a marketing gimmick, right?
Our goal of this campaign is to raise the profile of our staff. We believe they should have access to the same employment opportunities as everyone else and the same opportunities to move on to bigger and better jobs too. We’re a not-for-profit organisation, so if our profile is raised as a result of this campaign, that will only result in more jobs for more unemployed people with disabilities.

Why does BECO. want people to steal their staff?
We think we have some of the best employees in the world. If other companies steal our best talent, then that opens up a job for someone else who deserves an opportunity in employment.

How does this help disabled people who are unemployed?
In our experience employers see taking on disabled staff as a complex process at best, and a huge risk at worst. This couldn’t be further from the truth, as our staff and company prove every single day. Take a look at our staff profiles and you’ll see disability has a wide spectrum of talents and abilities. We’re trying to challenge the preconceptions of employing people with disablities and in turn open the door for many more people to follow.

Do your employees actually want to be stolen?
It depends on the offer. Our staff have all told us they love working here but are as open to hearing of new opportunities and challenges as anyone else.

The staff that we have featured were all happy to appear publicly. We have many more staff members who support the campaign but wished to remain private, and we respect their wishes. If you’re interested in speaking to more of our employees, you’re more than welcome to get in touch, and we can organise a visit to BECO. HQ.
