What Allan thinks about Allan
I’m a grafter, people do notice when I take a day off. I’m a Team Leader here at BECO. My blindness ruled me out of my dream career as an undertaker, because I couldn’t drive, so I went into removals instead. It meant I got to work in some interesting places: the MOD, the Foreign Office, HM Treasury, Buckingham Palace, Number 10 and Parliament. If I can’t get into undertaking, I’d like to get back into removals again.
What Head of HR Gill thinks of Allan
Allan is one of our stalwart team leaders and just keeps going no matter what we throw at him. He is calm and patient and has dealt with a lot of changes over the past few months and just takes it in his stride. He is a very hands-on Team Leader and gets stuck into the work that the staff are doing to make sure everything gets done on time. He never stops! He is well liked and respected by all and gets on with everyone.
What Allan’s colleague Michael thinks of Allan
He’s conscientious, methodical and organised. What he knows about the soap making process is brilliant. He keeps BECO. ticking. When he goes on holiday, we definitely miss him. He’s the go-to person on the factory floor, and carries a lot of the workload on his shoulders. A simple thank you goes a long way with him. If he got the right break, he’d be an asset to any organisation.
